Jimmy

Jimmy Started his professional career in New Zealand working on high end charter boats such as “Amokura” and “Arenui”. After doing 4 seasons in New Zealand Jimmy started his world tour fishing in destinations such as Vanuatu, Great Barrier Reef, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Seychelles, Nova Scotia, Madeira, and many more. Through his travels Jimmy learnt a huge range of advanced techniques which he has now bought back to the New Zealand Fishery.

Jimmy has operated some high-profile vessels such as the “Carol Libby” on which they caught the world record for most Blue Marlin in a day (34) and most Blue Marlin in a single season (881). After this Jimmy went on to operate one of the most recognizable Sportfish vessels in the world, the 90’ Jarrett Bay “Jaruco”. Onboard this vessel Jimmy released over 3500 billfish with his best day being 157 Striped Marlin in Magdelena Bay, Mexico.
